Well, if you got the link from a social networking website, there are things that you need to check first before you click.

– Is it reliable?

– How old is the website?

– Who posted the website link/ news?

Well, at first you’ll not know if the website itself is reliable. Due to curiosity, you’ll click the link and there it is (A website showing you different weird stuffs)

Satire websites post fake information related to showbiz, politics and any trending news. And they will make up a news which is fake.

Let me give you an example. Let’s try the topic in Politics. We all know that VP Leni Robredo won the Vice Presidential elections, then suddenly a month after you see a Facebook user posted a news that Bongbong Marcos becomes the new Vice President? Does it sound right? A big no. How can Sen. BongBong Marcos gets the VP post without any petition? And we all know that Sen. Marcos Jr. and VP Robredo are still in the VP electoral protest case, no decision yet were released by the Supreme Court as of August 24, 2016 who won and who didn’t.
