Aside from removing RT-PCR, Cebu has also commenced taking away the travel authority and medical certificate prerequisites.

Cebu coordinates and still respects the protocol. They have established the Bureau of Quarantine which will screen from departure to arrival who may have symptoms. If and when the tourist is asymptomatic, they will not be barred from entering or leaving Cebu.

DOH 7 Director Dr. Jaime Bernadas emphasized that the local government and hotels are in partnership with enforcing syndromic surveillance.

Even as she reopens Cebu Province to tourists from across the country, Governor Gwendolyn Garcia pointed out that she has always been compliant with IATF guidelines. #CebuProvinceisMovingOnAndMovingForward
