The trending topic on Twitter claims that Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., allegedly booked the entire Island of Amanpulo for a Victory Party, BBM camp says it is “Fake”.
A tweet from a user @GemoraAudie, “BBM has booked the whole island of Amanpulo for his victory party. The days of Imeldific yore and opulence is back …” posted the unverified claims last May 13, 2022, and it gains thousands of reactions and retweets from netizens.
The post was since deleted but the claims continue to spread in other social media platform sharing photos and screenshots of the tweet.
The term “Amanpulo” was a trending topic on Twitter with over 20,000 tweets. Amanpulo is a private luxury island resort in Palawan, and one of the most expensive resorts in the Philippines.
