Former wrestler turned Hollywood Actor Dave Bautista sat down with GQ in an interview, and shows off his Filipino-inspired tattoos, and other things he considers dear to him and tells his life story.

On his left arm, Bautista has the flag of the Philippines and on his left elbow are the famous three stars and the sun which are symbols found in the Philippine flag. A sun also tattooed on his chest.

Other tattoos were the Batman logo, the word “rockstar”, RZA and the hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan who helped him get into films.

His favorite tattoos are of his three old dogs. There is also a tattoo on his left arm which he covered-up that bore a team logo of a person he once considered a friend, but the said person publicly came out with anti-gay statements.

“I had a huge issue with it, it’s a personal issue with me, my mom’s a lesbian and I just could no longer call him a friend so I had it covered up,” Dave Bautista said.

Bautista currently stars in Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special, Glass Onion: A Knives Tale on Netflix, and in the upcoming Knock At the Cabin by M. Night Shyamalan.
