Agricultural school in Cavite, soon to rise

Mendez, Cavite— Agricultural school is soon to be established in one of the eco-farm in Cavite, Paradizoo by the Zoomanity Group Parks of the Yupangco family.

As cited in the report of Philstar, establishing the agricultural learning institute aims to open opportunities for youth through allowing them to witness and experience the benefits of farming.

The said agricultural school will be assisted by the government in providing the appropriate education for farming.

Further, A Power of Three, wherein floral, vegetable and agri-livestock festival is incurring until March. Alongside, with a seminars every Saturday morning, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. These were the activities that are in line with the kick-off of Zoomanity group.

Interestingly, the seminar is free and free seeds will be provided as well for the participants. According to the report,  this will be carried out by “well-known agriculture educators and cover cattle reproduction management and breeding, sale and auction of livestock, farm produce exhibits”. Respectively, making  Banik’s, jam and juice, are also included in the seminar.

“Paradizoo is an eco-farm destination open to families, students, farmers and both public and private sectors to share the benefits of and best practices in growing agricultural products”, as stated in the report of Philstar.

Paradizoo observes best practices in vermiculture, bokashi soil, hydrophonics  plant growing, and putting up compost pits. Like any other agri-tourisms, Paradizoo also maintains a sustainable kind of farm wherein plants are organically grown and animals are well-nurtured.

Visitors’ favorite attraction is the  Farm Frenzy. They have the chance to cuddle and purchase animals like rabbits, hamsters and love birds, Dorper sheep, Boer, Kalahari and Saanen dairy goats, Rusa. Turkeys from Australia are also on sale.
