Duterte supporters were denied access to the campaign rally in Camiguin, Oyo Sotto says

Date:

Oyo Sotto posted on his Instagram account this morning about the actual suppression the Duterte-Cayetano supporters experienced in Camiguin.

In his post, Sotto described what the Camiguin LGUs allegedly did to prevent the presidential candidate’s supporters from attending the campaign rally. Reports said that organizers were even denied electrical connection at the rally site while homeowners were told not to provide assistance. The sound system was also pulled out despite the fact that they had already paid for it.

Another source said people were threatened with removal of benefits such as cash allowances if they join the rally.
