On Duterte’s inauguration day, only 150 guests are invited!

Seems like only the super VIP are invited in Duterte’s inauguration.

With only 150 seats available incoming President Rodrigo Duterte just made his inauguration super exclusive but the main objective is to make the event simple yet meaningful.

“Limited space lang. Sorry to all the supporters na hindi pwedeng makapunta. The mayor would only like to have a very simple inauguration. Ayaw niya ng magastos,” Executive Assistant Christopher “bong” Go said on Sunday.

From 500 to 150
Earlier announcement the number was high as 500 guest but Duterte’s aide take that back to 150 saying that it will be just a simple lunch event.

“Ordinaryong pagkain lang. The mayor wants his inauguration very simple. The food will be served before he takes his oath after that, wala na. Main reason was his campaign promise,” Go said.

“Retired generals and diplomats” Go added.

Go already said that the president-elect doesn’t want to burden his countrymen with a large even in Luneta Park, Manila.

Guest during the event will have “Maruya” and Buko Juice as food.
