“During office hours, I don’t want to see any one of you playing at the golf course,” Dela Rosa said before policemen and high-ranking officials in his first flag raising ceremony at Camp Crame on Monday morning.

“I’ll take this opportunity para sabihin sa inyo. Henceforth, from now on, pagbabawal ko na sa lahat yung pag-go-golf during office hours. Mabuti sana ‘yung mga golfers diyan, magalit na kayo kung magalit, basta mag-trabaho muna kayo, mamaya na yung golf,” he said.

(I’ll take this opportunity to tell you. Henceforth, from now on, playing golf is not allowed during office hours. Get angry all you want, but you must work first, play golf later.)

Not only in golf courses but Dela Rosa also said he will punish cops betting money in casinos and cockpits.

“Ipagbabawal ko ‘yang pag-punta ng mga kapulisan sa mga sugalan, sa mga sabungan, sa mga casino. Mayroon po akong nakitang pulis nating nasa sabungan, nasa mga casino, malilintikan kayo sa akin,” he said.

(Police aren’t allowed to go to gambling dens, cock fights, and casinos. If I see police in these places, they will be punished.) JE/rga
