24 Oras: Bahay ng mga Duterte na nakalistang address sa umano'y mga bank acct niya, natunton

The Bank of the Philippine Islands account revealed by Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV listed two addresses for Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, one of which belongs to the presidential candidate’s youngest son.

Apart from a house in Ecoland Subdivision in Davao City, the listed address also included a house in P. Guevarra St. in San Juan.

According to officials of Barangay Maytunas, the Duterte family owns one unit in the compound.

“May unit po siya, pero bihira lang po [pumunta si Duterte],” said a security guard interviewed by GMA News’ Saleema Refran in an exclusive report for “24 Oras” on Friday.

When asked who occupied the unit, the guard replied: “‘Yung mga bodyguards niya po.”

GMA News was also able to speak to a household helper, who said she has been working for the family for three years.

“Hindi naman po siya palaging nandidito, sa hotel lang naman [siya natutulog],” said the helper. “Pero pumupunta po siya dito, dito siya kumakain.”

In the tax declaration of real property, the unit is registered under Sebastian Zimmerman Duterte, the mayor’s youngest son.

Sebastian also pays the real tax for the property, according to the land tax office.

According to the property’s Transfer Certificate of Title that GMA News obtained from the registry of deeds, the property was transfered under Sebastian’s name on June 13, 2001, when he was 14 years old.

Alongside the document was an affidavit by Elizabeth Zimmerman, Duterte’s ex-wife and Sebastian’s mother, detailing that the property was purchased using her savings.

In its deed of absolute sale, the value of the property was pegged at P2.3 million in 2001. â€”JST, GMA News
