While journalists from commercial media outlets continue to wait with bated breath when President-elect Rodrigo Duterte will talk to them again, sexy star Mocha Uson managed to score a lengthy and exclusive interview with him inside the Malacañang of the South in Davao City.

On Saturday (June 25), Uson uploaded on her Facebook page the first of a series of videos taken during her recent interview with Duterte. The clip was five minutes and 20 seconds long.

She began her interview by presenting to the President-elect the top 10 concerns aired by her fellow Duterte Die-hard Supporters (DDS) in a Facebook survey she conducted.

She said the concerns she listed in a paper she presented to Duterte are those which the DDS hopes he will address in his first 100 days in office.

Among the wishes that Uson’s fellow Duterte supporters would like action on is the Government Service Insurance System’s supposed failure to give benefits due to long-time employees, and the disparity between the salaries of employees in Metro Manila and the provinces.

In response, the President-elect said the concerns shared to him by Uson are caused by crime and corruption.

“Well, actually, can I reduce it into two sentences?” Duterte asked Uson.

“It’s crime and corruption. ‘Yung mga nandito.” he said.

Duterte then reiterated his desire for bringing back the death penalty, and for eliminating red tape in processing of government requirements.

“Matutupad ang death penalty. I am for it. As a matter of fact, I am the exponent of this penalty at this time of our lives, sa ating generation. Pero this has to pass Congress. It’s Congress that can reimpose the death penalty. But I’m asking for it because it’s needed for the times,” he said.

Duterte said he will also create a Department of Overseas Workers so migrant Filipino laborers will have an easier time processing their requirements for employment. He envisions the agency to be a one-stop shop for OFWs.

“I promise you, because of my concern, ang balak ko ma’am hatiin ko yung Labor [Department]. Mag-create ako ng bagong department to be known as the Office of the Filipino whatever… overseas workers,” he said.

“One-stop na lang ang Pilipino. Bigyan mo siya ng shopping list. Once na ma-provide na niya ‘yan, ipasok na niya doon sa window then sabihin ko salahat ng gobyerno na wag dagdagan, walang aalisin sa listahan para wala nang balik-balik,” Duterte added.

The President-elect also discussed with Uson the necessity for emergency powers and his plans to have a call center that Filipinos can contact for their concerns. He said the office will report directly to him.

Towards the end of the video, Uson showed a teaser of the second part of her interview with Duterte where he cursed the media for the preferential treatment he said they want to be accorded to them.
