Duterte won students votes in different parts of the country.
In FEU Advocate’s report, the official student publication of FEU, Duterte triumph in e-voting survey as of March 4, 2016 receiving 2,614 votes (43.66%), against Santiago’s 2,609 (43.58%), in the poll of 5,987 students, followed by Senator Grace Poe followed with 419 votes (7%), former Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas (2.91%), and Vice President Jejomar Binay (2.86%).
Arellano University – Main Campus conduct a Mock Election for President and Vice President position in relation to the upcoming 2016 National Election. On February 24, 2016 a mock Presidential poll was conducted in DLSAU. Out of 1,206 participant-voters, DUTERTE won with 640 votes followed by DEFENSOR with 283, POE with 156, ROXAS with 72 and BINAY with 55.
Majority of the 400 College of Law students of the University of San Carlos (USC), who participated in the mock elections held last Friday night, chose Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte . The results for the presidential candidates showed Duterte on top with 188 votes followed by Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago (70 votes), Mar Roxas (28 votes), Senator Grace Poe (16 votes) and Vice President Jejomar Binay (9 votes).
Both Xavier University (XU) and Mindanao University of Science and Technology (MUST) consistently revealed Duterte as their top bet for Presidency.
