Robin Padilla Visits Farmers in Kidapawan City and Gave 200 Sacks of Rice

MANILA – Reports reaching Manila indicated that actor Robin Padilla visited the Cotabato farmer-refugees at the United Methodist Church in Kidapawan City early Saturday afternoon, bringing with him sacks of rice for distribution.

With Padilla was Bayan Muna Representative and Makabayan senatorial candidate Neri Colmenares.

Kilab Multimedia posted photographs of Padilla interacting with the refugees, sympathizing and listening to the protesting farmers before giving a brief inspiring message.

“He later proceeded to a rice warehouse where he bought 200 sacks of rice for the farmers,” the Kilab Multimedia post indicated.
