17,211 Suspected Drug Pusher and Users Surrendered in Davao Region

President Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte promised the Filipinos ever since the campaign period has started that he will suppress corruption, crimes and drug trafficking in the country.


Since July 1 to July 10, they already have put on record about 17,211 users and pushers who surrendered to the local policemen from the provinces of Davao del Norte, Davao Oriental, Davao del Sur, Davao Occidental, Compostela Valley and Davao City, Police Regional Office 11 spokeswoman Chief Inspector Andrea dela Cerna said.

There are about a total of 1,901 houses were also visited by the police authorities on the same period, with the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) Double Barrel anti-illegal drugs campaign locally known as Oplan Tokhang which headed by PNP Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.

It shows in the record that the province of Davao del Norte with 8,370 got the most numbered of surrenderees followed by Davao Oriental with 3,538 and Compostela Valley with over 2,000.

Twenty-two persons involved in drug were killed in the same period while 95 persons were arrested from police operations.

Reality check, little by little we could really see the differences and changes that the Duterte administration will bring forth for our country.
