DOTr launches the newest P2P double-decker bus service for metro manila

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) launched 14 new double-decker buses under the point-to-point (P2P) bus service. The new buses were assigned to ply the Trinoma-Glorietta 5 route with operations running 24/7. The bus fare is P55 with a discount on weekends. The Passengers can also buy the one month, unlimited ride promo for P1,300.


It’s a transport option for motorists affected by the “no window hours” in major highways starting later this month.

DOTr said

The fleet will ferry passengers who will be affected by the “No window hours” policy on private vehicles that will strictly be implemented on EDSA, C5, Mandaluyong, Alabang-Zapote, and Roxas Boulevard starting October 17″.

It included two VIP, seven semi-VIP and five PWD-friendly buses. The VIP buses have reclining sleeper seats with foot rests and a lounge with flat-screen TV monitors, cooler and even a comfort room.

The buses, equipped with CCTV cameras, have passed Euro 5 emission standards.
