Manny Pacquiao is the new WBO welterweight Champion
The Filipino boxing Manny Pacquiao regained the WBO welterweight title with a one-sided decision win over Jessie Vargas on Saturday (Sunday in Manila) at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
The scores were 114-113, 118-109, 118-109, all for Manny Pacquiao.
Pacquiao dropped Vargas in round two with a lightning quick left-hand counter left in round two, the first time the 27-year-old from Las Vegas had ever been knocked down in a professional fight.
