In a series of Instagram posts, Dior reveals how this vintage-inspired dress came to life. It was exclusively designed by the brand’s artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri. The initial design provided us with a simple sketch of the dress along with details including the ruffles along the square neckline. On the second photo, you can see a professional seamstress or petites mains carefully stitching each part of the dress to perfection. Dior explained that each petite mains dedicated long hours to make sure that each stitch is perfect. The last photo of the series shows the completed dress in a mannequin. “If you can imagine it, they make it,” quoted by Dior.

Aside from Song Hye Kyo’s bridal gown, Christian Dior was also in charge of the groom’s tux. Wedding photos of the event provided us with a great view of this Dior creation in every angle.
