The Sy siblings has been recorded as the richest Filipinos in 2019, the Forbes PH magazine revealed.
“The Sy siblings have a combined net worth of US$17.2 billion, stemming largely from the family’s SM group, the country’s largest conglomerate,” report stated.
Moreover, there are also new sets of tycoons made it to the list. Aside from the Sy siblings, Ty and Campos siblings are the new listee of the richest people in the country.
Ty siblings obtained a combined net worth of $2.6 billion while Campos siblings have $650 million worth which comes from the country’s pharmaceutical giant Unilab.
Dennis Uy also enjoined the new set with $660 million which generated from his new asset, the Udenna.
”Further, Delfin Wenceslao attained a net $500 million worth after undertaking real estate developer D.M. Wenceslao & Associates public in June 2018,” Forbes mentioned.
Antonio Lee Tiu, founder of AgriNurture, has a net worth of $135 million.

Information from the tycoons, stock exchanges, analysts, private databases, government agencies and other sources were used in creating the new lists of richest Filipino in 2019.
“Net worths were based on stock prices and exchange rates as of the close of markets on September 6. Private companies were valued by using financial ratios and other comparisons with similar publicly traded companies,” report said.
