Udenna Corporation owner, Dennis Uy acquires Wendy’s franchise in the Philippines.

The Davao tycoon owned 51 Wendy’s outlets across the country. Uy eyes to open more branches in various provinces and cities.

As Dennis Uy acquires Wendy’s, he emphasized that his corporation want to be engaged in growing industries through expanding in the restaurant space by offering quality, affordable dining out options.

“Udenna took over Wendy’s local operations through its subsidiary Eight-8-Ate Holdings Inc,” Philstar report revealed.

Further, the latest venture of Udenna added to its acquired food and restaurant sector; Enderun Colleges, Family Mart, and Conti’s Bakeshop and Restaurant.

Wendy’s is an American fast-food giant burger which is prominent for its hamburgers, frosty desserts, and fries.

Uy also purchase the local operator of Family Mart convenience stores last October through Phoenix Petroleum.

Apart from those businesses, Uy also added an education segment to his business through the acquisition of Enderun Colleges, which is located in Taguig.

“Udenna acquired 70% of Conti’s Holdings Corp., the restaurant chain behind the popular Conti’s brand,” report mentioned.
