The KMC Startup Awards are back for a second year, and the stage is set to recognize the trailblazing entrepreneurs and innovative startups that are shaping the future of the Philippine business landscape. Organized by KMC Solutions, the awards celebrate pioneering ventures across various sectors, from technology and healthcare to finance and social impact.
Building on the success of the inaugural event held in November 2023, this year’s awards promise to spotlight even more talent. Notable past winners include Packworks, a sari-sari store enabler, which earned the Startup of the Year title, and GoTyme Bank, winner of the Tech Innovator Award. Sprout Solutions CEO Patrick Gentry was recognized as the Emerging Leader of the Year.
The 2024 edition introduces two new categories—Growth Champion Award and Best Newcomer Award—bringing the total to ten categories that will recognize excellence in innovation, customer experience, sustainability, and leadership. These new awards aim to highlight businesses that are achieving remarkable growth or just starting but showing great potential.
Winners will be announced at a prestigious gala event in November 2024, providing them with not only recognition but also exposure and access to business development opportunities that could propel them to even greater heights.

Nominations are now open until October 3, 2024, and eligible startups—operational for at least one year and no more than ten—are encouraged to apply. Companies from across various industries are welcome, and participants can enter multiple categories if they meet the criteria.
