Facebook opens Manila office, now hiring!

On April 21, Facebook officially launched its first office in the Philippines after opening their Southeast Asia headquarters. For the social media savvy, this isn't just a great news, but a proof that through its netizens, our country has captured the attention of big companies like Facebook.

The Philippines has been recognized as one of the top Facebook users in the world. Because of this, Facebook executives said that the PH is a priority market, having 49 million active users every month.

Samsung PH's Business Unit Head of IT and Mobile, Digs Dimagiba, was hired and appointed as the head of the Philippine office to will lead the local business team assigned to gain a close partnership with local businesses and agencies.

During its launch, Facebook Philippines also launched their Facebook Jeepney, which added to the people's excitement.
