Agricultural commodities gone digital: Palengke Boy App

Date:

Davao City, Philippines-  Palengke Boy App was launched last July 2018 to address the hectic schedules of wet market goers in Davao City. The app enables you to purchase your own fresh produce that you used to buy in wet market. A unique innovation of online shopping which targets fresh produce-consumers. More significantly, these are market goers that have no time to go at the market.

The app gives more convenience because it saves your time especially, when you look for parking and also the tendency to feel more tiring to go around the market when the place is so wet due to rainny season.

A Davao-grown entrepreneur, Hanz Elman Concepcion was inspired by the idea that there are no local online shops which cater demands for fresh fruits, vegetables and meat.

The agricultural commodities that are being purchased come from Bangkerohan market, largest public market of the city. Respectively, the app has the same product prices with Bangkerohan.

How does this work?

Just create an account in Palengke Boy or just download the app whether you are an iOs or Android user. With a minimum order of Php 600 and a minimal delivery fee of Php 8 on selected cover areas, your wet market shopping is about to change.

Palengke boy does value customers trust through ensuring a quality standard of produce ,and accurate amount of weight and right prices of their orders.

According to Hanz Concepcion, after the launched of the app, downloads of the app have reached more than a thousand. 500 of those downloaded apps used to order with us.
