Customer shares frustration when her order came with a “Fried Towel” meal

Date:

Have you ever tried ordering a chicken meal from a fast-food chain but given a fried towel instead?

It is what Alique Perez experienced firsthand. Perez took to social media to reveal the horrific experience she and her family had from a known fast-food restaurant via grab in Metro Manila.

“Just something that frustrated me this late. We had Jollibee delivered via grab. Ordered chicken for my son, while I was trying to get him a bite, I found it super hard to even slice. Tried opening it up with my hands and to my surprise a deep fried towel,” Perez started.

Perez said it’s utterly disturbing, and how was it possible for the towel to included in their order?

“How the hell do you get the towel in the batter and even fry it!?!”

From her captions, it was clear that she has read or heard about the news of such occurrence upon ordering food. However, never did she expect that it’ll happen to her.

“I really thought that the post complaining about weird stuff in their orders were just all made up, now I know that it really happens!”

The fast-food chain branch was located at a prime area of business in Metro Manila.

“To think that you’re even branched in BGC.”

Alique Perez states that the food they had or other people could have ordered might be contaminated with the same oil from the said towel.

“Now I can’t even think of the other chickenjoys na kasama while frying this. Having the same oil for how many hours after frying this FRIED TOWEL.”

As of the moment, there is no official statement from the fast-food restaurant of the incident. Not even a word regarding possible investigations or actions.
