Eat Bulaga Anticipates Network Transfer as Iconic Trio Contemplates Move: The ‘Go Signal’ Awaited

Date:

The anticipated transfer of the iconic trio, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, along with the whole production of “Eat Bulaga,” to another TV network remains a hot topic on social media. Speculations surrounding the long-running noontime show’s departure from GMA 7 continue to circulate, primarily focusing on the issues surrounding TAPE Inc., the program’s producer.

In the YouTube vlog “Showbiz Now Na” by Nanay Cristy Fermin, Romel Chika, and Wendell Alvarez, they discussed the controversies surrounding TVJ’s noontime show, sparking further conversations on the matter. According to Nay Cristy, a producer is allegedly prepared to take over “Eat Bulaga” should Tito, Vic, and Joey decide to switch TV networks.

Reports suggest that Tito Sen and the said producer have already had a “secret meeting” to discuss the possible transfer. It was also mentioned that the potential involvement of the Dabarkads in TVJ was part of the conversation.

“Nanay Cristy” began by revealing, “We received information from a reliable source regarding secret meetings. It seems that three major producers are planning to merge so that if Tito, Vic, and Joey decide to switch channels, these three prominent producers will come together to bring us the new ‘Eat Bulaga.'”

She further added, “They have already conducted a headcount, asking if they will join or be left behind.” According to her source, all the co-hosts were willing to move to TVJ.

“I asked my source, what’s the real deal? ‘Will they transfer?’ The answer was a quick and resounding ‘Yes, they will transfer,'” Nanay Cristy revealed.

The columnist-content creator also quipped, “There will be surprises and shockers.”

Meanwhile, amidst these rumors, there are reports suggesting a possible return of Willie Revillame’s “Wowowin” to GMA, following his contract pull-out from ALLTV. The public can anticipate a major announcement from Willie in June.

Some have commented on the possibility of “Eat Bulaga” airing on TV5 and potentially having back-to-back shows with “It’s Showtime.” Another question arises: Could “EB” also air on the Kapamilya Channel?

As we write this news article, there has been no official response from Tito, Vic, and Joey. Neither TAPE nor GMA has issued an official statement regarding this matter.
